Governor Crist Appoints Six To The Continuing Care Advisory Council

TALLAHASSEE /Florida Newswire/ -– Governor Charlie Crist today announced the following reappointments and appointments: Continuing Care Advisory Council: James F. Emerson, 68, of Orlando, chief executive officer with Westminster Communities of Florida, reappointed for a term beginning October 26, 2009, and ending September 30, 2011.

· Eugene O. George, 64, of Sarasota, attorney and shareholder with Bowman, George, Scheb and Toale P.A., reappointed for a term beginning October 26, 2009, and ending September 30, 2012.

· Richard J. Scanlon, 51, of St. Petersburg, managing director with B.C. Ziegler and Company, reappointed for a term beginning October 26, 2009, and ending September 30, 2012.

· Walter J. Hood, 88, of Tampa, retired, succeeding Louis Maygarden, appointed for a term beginning October 26, 2009, and ending September 30, 2012.

· Paul J. Loree, 73, of Pompano Beach, retired ophthalmologist, succeeding Margaret Terbeek, appointed for a term beginning October 26, 2009, and ending September 30, 2012.

· Charles D. Paulk, 77, of Lakeland, retired educator, succeeding Mary Ann Koopman, appointed for a term beginning October 26, 2009, and ending September 30, 2012.
