Mercy Housing

DENVER, Colo., Aug. 5, 2015 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — On Thursday, July 30, the National Real Estate Practice of EPIC Insurance Brokers and Consultants presented its charity of choice, Mercy Housing, with a check for $26,000.

EPIC began raising the money for Mercy Housing during its second annual EPIC Real Estate Forum in Las Vegas, Nev. in February, 2015. Several of EPIC’s key partners sponsored the event and made significant contributions to EPIC’s fund raising efforts.

Mercy Housing is one of the largest, non-profit, affordable housing organizations in the country and these funds will be used to benefit their Parkside Apartments property to support its Resident Services program. This support will include a summer camp program for the residents’ children, providing field trips, reading programs, healthy lunches and snacks, and more.

“We are deeply appreciative of EPIC’s generous gift, which will create lasting good,” said Jane Graf, President and CEO of Mercy Housing.

“We are delighted with our partnership with Mercy Housing,” said Kathleen Felderman, Managing Principal and National Real Estate Practice Leader at EPIC. “As leaders in the multi-family insurance marketplace, we recognize and applaud Mercy Housing’s mission and we are honored to be a part of this program. We would like to thank our event sponsor partners for helping us make this happen.”
