TALLAHASSEE, Fla. /Florida Newswire/ — During the first week of Feb. 2018, Fla. Governor Rick Scott announced seven reappointments and five appointments to multiple state boards.
Board of Veterinary Medicine
Connie Johnson, of Plant City, is the safety net manager at SPCA Florida. She is reappointed for a term beginning February 2, 2018, and ending October 31, 2021.
Suzanne Inzina, of Largo, is a board member and volunteer with Labrador Retriever Rescue of Florida. She is reappointed for a term beginning February 2, 2018, and ending October 31, 2020.

University of Central Florida Board of Trustees
Danny Gaekwad, of Ocala, is the founder and chief executive officer of NDS USA Information Technology. He also serves on the board of directors for Enterprise Florida, and as an executive board member for VISIT FLORIDA. He succeeds Clarence Brown, and is appointed for a term beginning February 2, 2018, and ending January 6, 2023.

Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission
Joshua Kellam, of Palm Beach Gardens, is the President of the Florida Division of ESG Enterprises. Kellam is also a member of the Water Resource Advisory Coalition of South Florida Water Management District. He fills a vacant seat and is appointed for a term beginning February 2, 2018, and ending January 5, 2019.

Robert Fredere, of Lakeland, is an engineer at The Mosaic Company. He succeeds Jeffrey Narrow and is appointed for a term beginning February 2, 2018, and ending September 30, 2020.
Florida School for the Deaf and Blind Board of Trustees
Owen McCaul, of Tallahassee, is an assistant state attorney for the 2nd Judicial Circuit Court and general counsel for state attorney Jack Campbell. McCaul is reappointed for a term beginning February 2, 2018, and ending December 10, 2020.

Governor’s Mansion Commission
Janelle Beruff, of Bradenton, is the owner of B-Squared Engineering. She succeeds Samuel Vickers and is appointed for a term beginning February 2, 2018, and ending September 30, 2021.

South Florida State College District Board of Trustees
Derren Bryan, of Bowling Green, is the general manager and information technology director for Albritton Insurance Services, LLC. Bryan is reappointed for a term beginning February 2, 2018, and ending May 31, 2019.
Tim Backer, of Arcadia, is a real estate appraiser in Arcadia. Backer is appointed for a term beginning February 2, 2018, and ending May 31, 2021.
Louis Kirschner, of Arcadia, is a chiropractic physician at the Arcadia Chiropractic Clinic, Inc. Kirschner is reappointed for a term beginning February 2, 2018, and ending May 31, 2021
