TALLAHASSEE, Fla. /Florida Newswire/ -– Governor Charlie Crist today announced the appointment of Representative Priscilla A. Taylor to serve on the Palm Beach Board of County Commissioners. Taylor will fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Addie Greene.

Taylor, 59, of West Palm Beach, is currently a member of the Florida House of Representatives for District 84. Taylor is also the owner and president of P. Taylor Insurance Associates. She previously served the community as chair of the Port of Palm Beach District Board of Commissions before being elected to the Florida House of Representatives in 2004.

Taylor is a board member for Columbia Hospital, a member of the Martin Luther King Jr. Coordinating Committee, and previously a member of both the Urban League of Palm Beach and the Executive Women of Palm Beach.
