Blu-ray Player

SHENZHEN, China, Oct. 16, 2014 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — Leawo Software today officially announced the roll-out of the 1.8 version of Blu-ray Player, including Blu-ray Player 1.8.0 and Blu-ray Player for Mac 1.8.0. These two Blu-ray media playback software tools, since the 1.8 version, are now available to anyone for free. Meanwhile, the upgrade fixed some problems: playback error of partial discs, disc menu error, Blu-ray disc loading error, program UI and workflow optimization, and more.

Leawo Blu-ray Player is a professional and comprehensive media player program that can act as an all-region Blu-ray disc player, DVD player, HD video player, audio player and ISO file player. Previously, Leawo Blu-ray Player offered free service for DVD, HD video, audio and ISO file playback, but cost people $60 for playing Blu-ray discs. Now, with version 1.8, Leawo Software makes it a totally free media player to play all Blu-ray, DVD, HD video, audio and ISO files at no cost.

“Currently, there are very few Blu-ray media player software for Blu-ray disc playback on computers, not even to say free ones. Leawo Blu-ray Player has been highly praised since it’s launch last year. Over 500,000 users have sent feedback and positive reviews upon this app. We think it would be more popular and so desired to make it costless,” according to Ms. Sophia Liang, who is the Manager of International Marketing Department of Leawo Software.

Besides the price change, Leawo also optimized the program, mainly in Blu-ray disc playback. Blu-ray discs are generally encrypted with various disc protections, such as AACS, BD+, etc., which might result in troublesome movie playback; like playback errors, Blu-ray disc loading error, blurred/black screen, disc menu being hidden or unclickable, etc. The 1.8 version of Leawo Blu-ray Player, for both Mac and Windows, fixed all of these problems to provide smooth and friendly Blu-ray movie playback experience.

Additionally, the program interface was optimized by adding some new buttons for easier operating through the upgrade. While loading source media files into Leawo Blu-ray Player, the new version gets a progress bar to show people the loading progress. Users easily get to know how long it will take. Meanwhile, for ejecting discs, previous Blu-ray Player has no ejection button to put out discs from disc drive directly. However, the upgrade version added an ejection button on the disc icon of the main interface. Blu-ray and DVD discs could be ejected via a simple click on the button.

“We hope more people could use this Blu-ray Player, either Windows or Mac, and tell us what their thoughts and suggestions. So we could make this app better,” added Ms. Sophia Liang.
