Blue Horizon International prepares to treat multiple conditions in their new laboratory
NEW YORK CITY, N.Y., July 18, 2013 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — Blue Horizon International (BHI) along with its local partner, Medissimo Hospital, announced to press, media and guests, the opening of their new stem cell research and treatment laboratory in Bratislava, Slovakia on July 12, 2013.
The announcement was made by BHI Founder and Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Brian Mehling, and Medissimo CEO, Renata Mihalyova. A video was played highlighting actual stem cell treatments and results in BHI’s facility in China, followed by a formal announcement depicting this new facility as an opportunity to experience the same success in Slovakia. Blue Horizon International COO, Doreen Santora stated, “Blue Horizon International has treated over 500 patients in China, and we are excited about the opportunity to begin treating international patients in Slovakia.”
Joined by Blue Horizon International’s CEO, John Ferguson and Chief Scientist, Dr. Dongcheng Wu, BHI answered questions ranging from diseases treated to international expansion. It was this possibility of international expansion that drew attendees from the United States, Turkey, Monaco and London; all interested in the research and treatment BHI has conducted, and the possibilities made available from stem cell treatments.
The press conference was followed by a tour of the Medissimo medical facility, where attendees were able to view the laboratory where BHI Slovakia will provide stem cell treatments to both children and adults. These procedures utilize adult stem cells only and will treat a number of conditions and diseases – including Alzheimer’s, anti-aging, arthritis, auto-immune diseases, back pain, brain trauma, cerebral palsy, diabetes, infertility, neurological diseases and stroke.
The day’s events concluded with a roof-top reception and champagne toast, attended by media, Blue Horizon International’s team, hospital staff and other invited guests. According to members of Blue Horizon’s executive team, the availability of stem cell therapies is certainly not new; however they feel that this partnership will deliver much needed medical and regenerative treatments for international patients in Slovakia and beyond.
